For people who don't know, the Ole Miss Law School will require student applicants to take the LSAT or the so called law school admission test for them to know if you are qualified for their standards. They will also require you to register for the LSDAS or the so called law school data assembly service and you must then earn a degree from a nationally or even regional accredited university or college which is prior to their matriculation. Every student applicant's admission will then be based on the academic aptitude and ability of the student when it comes to law. The two main factors which they consider for admitting students are your LSAT result and if you are an undergraduate, they will then check your grade point average.

Some of the other considerations that the Ole Miss Law School included in the criteria are the following:

  • Experience when it comes to your job
  • Your residency
  • The difficulty level of your major field of study
  • Your circumstances and backgrounds when it comes to personal, social and economic\
  • Your achievements which are non academic
  • Some letter of recommendation from your previous school
  • Your progression and pattern when it comes to grade

After taking all the required exams and applications in the Ole Miss Law school. You will then be notified in a letter after the school has made the decision. Usually these letters are being sent and received between the month of January and April. Now, once accepted, you will be given an option if you want to enrol during fall or summer, because these seasons are considered as one class only.

But unfortunately not all who are on the waiting list are being given a chance to be admitted due to the volume of students each year.
